Yam and potato Balls

Sometimes you get tired of eating the usual Boiled or Fried yam. Well, there are other fun things to do with yams. Sometimes I make these yam balls with sweet potato,Irish potatoes and yams  or just the yam itself.Other times i add ground beef like I did in this particular recipe or Tuna for a change. You'll need Boiled yam/some Irish potatoes  Breadcrumbs                          Just before frying One egg red and green bell peppers minced meat onions garlic powder seasoning some butter Lets cook saute some garlic and onions and add the minced meat, break it up with the spoon and some seasoning,let it cook till its no longer pink. Add the red and green bell peppers and sautee for a bit(drain the excess oil if any),add the  garlic powder also and allow to simmer, set aside. mash your boiled yam and add the minced meat mixture,a knob of butter,part of the egg. Form into balls and refrigerate for about 20 minutes to allow firm up make your dredging

Peanut butter, banana chocolate chips French toast

This is one decadently yummy recipe. I recommend it for kids most times because its highly packed with healthy deliciousness. Peanut butter is high in protein and the right kind of fat, the bananas are healthy too, the egg in this recipe gives the right amount of protein for the meal. I have put a twist to it by adding some chocolate chips. I tell mums that french toast is a way to get your picky eater to eat eggs just in case he/she isn't normally interested in eggs.gradually they get used to the taste and may accept eggs in other forms. Avocado,smoked chicken grilled cheese sandwich

Hello Again, Here's a simple grilled cheese recipe. Its so easy to make, and saves time too. Enjoy                                                                       Avocado chicken grilled cheese sandwich Ingredients ·          Bread ·          Cheese slices (mozzarella light) ·          One avocado, mashed ·          Already seasoned grilled or smoked chicken, sorted ·          Butter Mash the Avocado and add some black pepper and pinch of salt. Spread on one side of the bread, top with flat chicken pieces and one slice of cheese, cover the cheese with another slice of cheese.  Add some butter to a pan and place the bread on it, hold down with a spatula and cook on one side for 2-3 minutes, Flip to the other side and cook for 2-3 minutes. Cut in half or squares and serve!
